Presentation on behalf of CUPE Provincial Health Care Council in support of determining a fair and reasonable wage rate increase for our membershipclipboard (2)

On May 23, the CUPE Provincial Health Care Council opened bargaining with the presentation of a wage brief aimed at determining a fair and reasonable wage rate increase for our health sector members. The main purpose of the brief is to argue against the 2 year zero percent wage freeze mandated by the provincial government for public sector workers.

The 17 page report presents economic and wage analysis, arguing that
not only will a wage freeze be detrimental to our workers and their families, but also for the
general economy.
